Wellbeing and
Mental Health Support

The great thing about these workshops is they are all 1-2 hours long, so perfect for a lunch and learn session.  The goal of these workshops are to explore the lived experiences of women from ethnic minority backgrounds and dispel stereotypes.

2021 for many women from Black heritage and Mixed-race (of Black heritage) backgrounds, was exhausting, emotional, and tiresome. Managing day jobs, home commitments, life, pandemic, and vicarious racism on a global level.  Along with the continued experiences of micro-aggression, systematic and institutional racism, and gender inequalities. Don't forget the expectations and burden from carrying the stereotypes of being seen as 'angry', 'strong', and 'independent' and the mental health implications these produce.

This two hours session will be lead by a mental health practitionaire and racial equity specialist.
